Burberry Cash Office Accounting Assistant role in Leeds. Join the Order to Cash team and manage financial reconciliations and cash operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process cash allocations accurately and maintain complete transaction records within SAP
- Reconcile bank and control accounts daily, matching cash and card transactions across multiple accounts and currencies
- Manage third-party file uploads and communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile and replenish Burberry gift vouchers weekly, investigating and addressing outstanding items
- Prepare month-end bank and control account reconciliations, upload completed reconciliations to Cadency and process intercompany activity accurately
- Support wider Cash Office priorities, identify opportunities for process improvement, and provide additional cover during selected weekends or public holidays at half-year and year-end
Qualifications
- Experience in finance operations, transactional accounting, or cash office environment with understanding of reconciliations and financial controls
- Strong attention to detail with ability to analyse information, investigate differences, and reach accurate conclusions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP or another relevant enterprise finance system
- Clear and concise communication skills with ability to build effective relationships across finance and non-finance teams
- Collaborative and adaptable approach with willingness to seek feedback and contribute to continuous improvement
- Ability to organise priorities, work with appropriate autonomy, and deliver accurate work within agreed deadlines
