The Makeup Artist combines creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized customer experiences and collaborates with the team on events and visual merchandising. This is a part-time role with retail-hour availability, including days, nights, weekends and special events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Use creative and technical makeup expertise to serve customers.
- Collaborate with the team on in-store events that create impact.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards that help the store stand out from competitors.
Qualifications
- A makeup artistry qualification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are also welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
