All applicants ought to know these basics about Piaget before applying or interviewing for any role.

Founded in 1874 in La Côte-aux-Fées, Piaget built its reputation first as a maker of ultra-thin watch movements before becoming a full-fledged maison known for both haute horlogerie and high jewelry.
Piaget is now part of Richemont, which can make it an appealing employer for candidates interested in mobility across houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Jaeger LeCoultre.
The brand is especially celebrated for technical elegance, with ultra-thin calibres and design icons like the Altiplano showing how engineering and aesthetics are developed hand in hand.
Piaget’s identity spans watchmaking and jewelry almost equally, so careers there often sit at the intersection of craftsmanship, gem-setting, product design, and high-end client experience.
The maison has long embraced artistic, fashion-forward expression—particularly since its bold 1960s and 1970s creations—which gives the brand a more creative and stylistically expressive culture than many traditional watchmakers.
Because Piaget preserves in-house expertise in movement development while also operating in high jewelry, it offers job seekers exposure to both technical Swiss manufacturing and image-driven luxury storytelling.
