All applicants ought to know these basics about Krug before applying or interviewing for any role.

Founded in Reims in 1843 by Joseph Krug, the house built its reputation on crafting prestige Champagne every year from a vast library of reserve wines rather than relying solely on a single harvest.
Krug sits within LVMH alongside maisons such as Moët & Chandon, Ruinart, and Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, making it part of one of luxury’s most powerful talent ecosystems.
The house is especially known for Krug Grande Cuvée, a multi-vintage blend that showcases painstaking assemblage skills, so careers there often sit close to long-horizon craftsmanship and sensory excellence.
Because Krug operates at a deliberately small, high-prestige scale, employees are typically contributing to a brand where exclusivity, storytelling, and precision hospitality matter as much as production.
Krug has cultivated a strong cultural identity through its close ties to gastronomy and music, which can make the brand especially appealing for candidates interested in experiential luxury rather than product alone.
