All applicants ought to know these basics about Kering Eyewear before applying or interviewing for any role.

Founded in 2014, Kering Eyewear was created to bring eyewear design, product development, and distribution in-house for luxury houses within Kering, giving employees exposure to both brand storytelling and industrial execution.
The company develops eyewear for labels including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, and Alexander McQueen, making it an unusually multi-brand career platform inside luxury.
Its business model blends fashion sensibility with technical categories like lenses, frames, merchandising, and wholesale, so roles often sit at the intersection of creative, commercial, and supply-chain expertise.
Kering Eyewear has grown rapidly through both organic expansion and acquisitions, which makes it attractive for candidates who want a scale-up culture backed by a major luxury group rather than a traditional heritage maison.
Because eyewear is one of luxury’s most global accessory categories, teams at Kering Eyewear typically work across international retail, optician networks, travel retail, and e-commerce channels.
The brand’s relatively young history compared with older maisons means employees can help shape processes and culture more directly than they might at long-established houses such as Cartier or Louis Vuitton.
