All applicants ought to know these basics about Guerlain before applying or interviewing for any role.

Founded in Paris in 1828, Guerlain is one of the world’s oldest perfume houses, giving employees the chance to work inside nearly two centuries of beauty heritage.
Guerlain became part of LVMH in 1994, which can mean broader international career mobility across luxury, beauty, retail, and hospitality brands.
The house is famous for iconic fragrances such as Shalimar and Mitsouko, so roles in product, marketing, and retail often connect directly to some of perfumery’s most influential creations.
Guerlain’s identity has long blended fragrance, skincare, and makeup, making it especially attractive for candidates who want cross-category experience rather than a narrow beauty specialization.
Its historic ties to French craftsmanship and artistic packaging mean the brand often appeals to professionals interested in heritage storytelling, client experience, and high-end visual merchandising.
