All applicants ought to know these basics about Byredo before applying or interviewing for any role.

Byredo was founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham, giving the brand a comparatively young profile that often appeals to candidates who want heritage-level cachet with startup-era agility.
The house built its reputation through niche fragrance before expanding into makeup, leather goods, eyewear, and home, which can create unusually cross-functional career paths for talent interested in brand building beyond perfume.
Byredo’s minimalist visual language and emotionally driven scent storytelling have made it a standout in modern luxury, offering employees experience in a brand where creative direction and cultural relevance are tightly linked.
In 2022, Byredo was acquired by Puig, so job seekers may find a mix of independent creative identity and the broader global infrastructure associated with Puig.
Because Byredo sits at the intersection of fragrance, fashion, design, and art, it tends to attract collaborators from multiple creative disciplines, making it especially interesting for candidates drawn to culturally connected luxury environments.
