Must-know Boucheron Facts

All applicants ought to know these basics about Boucheron before applying or interviewing for any role.

Founded in Paris in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron, the house is one of the great names of Place Vendôme high jewelry and is now part of Kering, giving employees access to both maison heritage and group-scale career mobility.
Boucheron was the first jeweler to open a boutique on Place Vendôme in 1893, a landmark move that still reinforces its identity around prestige, visibility, and historic Parisian craftsmanship.
The brand is especially known for inventive, nature-inspired and architectural designs, so careers there often sit at the intersection of traditional savoir-faire, design experimentation, and storytelling.
Boucheron operates across high jewelry, fine jewelry, watches, and fragrances, which can make it attractive to candidates seeking broader exposure than at a more narrowly focused maison such as Repossi or Buccellati.
Its reputation for exceptional stones and one-of-a-kind creations means many roles support very high standards in sourcing, client experience, merchandising, and bespoke execution.
As a Kering-owned maison alongside brands such as Gucci, Balenciaga, and Bottega Veneta, Boucheron can appeal to job seekers who want a more intimate luxury house within a major global group.
