All applicants ought to know these basics about Berluti before applying or interviewing for any role.

Founded in Paris in 1895 by Italian-born shoemaker Alessandro Berluti, the house built its reputation on exceptional men’s footwear before expanding into leather goods and ready-to-wear.
Berluti is part of LVMH, which can make it appealing to job seekers seeking the culture of a niche maison with the backing, mobility, and training infrastructure of a global luxury group.
The brand is especially renowned for its Venezia leather and hand-applied patinas, giving artisans and retail teams a product story rooted in visible craftsmanship rather than logo-driven branding.
Berluti remains one of the few major luxury houses centered almost exclusively on the masculine wardrobe, offering careers that sit at the intersection of bespoke tradition, contemporary design, and high-touch client service.
Its evolution from shoemaker to full lifestyle house accelerated under LVMH ownership, placing Berluti in an ecosystem alongside brands such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, and Loewe.
Because Berluti operates in a more discreet segment of luxury, employees often work with clients who value connoisseurship, personalization, and long-term relationships over overt trend cycles.
